Adding a contact form to your WordPress site using Elementor Pro is quite easy. Elementor Pro comes with a built-in Form widget that allows you to create and customize contact forms. Follow these steps to add a contact form to your site:
Install Elementor Pro: Make sure you have Elementor Pro installed and activated on your WordPress site. If you don’t have it already, you can purchase it from the Elementor website (https://elementor.com/pro/) and follow the installation instructions.
Create or edit a page: Go to your WordPress Dashboard > Pages > Add New (or select an existing page you’d like to add the contact form to). Click ‘Edit with Elementor’ to open the Elementor editor.
Add the Form widget: In the Elementor editor, locate the Form widget by searching for “Form” in the widgets panel on the left-hand side. Drag and drop the Form widget to the desired location on your page.
Customize the form: Once you’ve added the Form widget, you can customize its fields, appearance, and settings. The widget’s settings are organized into three tabs: Content, Style, and Advanced.
Content: This tab allows you to add or remove form fields, set their labels, placeholders, and field types, as well as customize the submit button text and actions.
Style: This tab is for adjusting the appearance of the form, such as colors, typography, field and button sizes, and more.
Advanced: This tab includes additional settings, such as custom CSS, motion effects, and responsive settings.
Configure form actions: In the Form widget’s Content tab, scroll down to the ‘Actions After Submit’ section. By default, the “Email” action is added. Click on the “+” icon to add more actions if needed (e.g., redirecting to another page after submission or integrating with a marketing service).
Set up email notifications: To receive an email notification when someone submits the form, click on the “Email” action you added in the previous step. Fill in the ‘Email To’ field with the email address where you want to receive the notifications. You can also customize the email subject, content, and other settings.
Save and preview: Click the “Update” button at the bottom of the Elementor editor to save your changes. Then, preview your page to make sure the contact form looks and works as expected.
That’s it! You’ve successfully added a contact form to your WordPress site using Elementor Pro.
